Opting to field first, England’s decision did not pay dividends as Phoebe Litchfield, Alyssa Healy, and Ellyse Perry got Australia to a formidable start.

However, Alice Capsey and Sophie Ecclestone also picked seven between them to bowl Australia out for 180. 

Defending a subpar total, Kim Garth made the new ball talk as she dismantled the top-order, while Alana King spun a web, eventually helping Australia win by 21 runs. 

The third ODI will be played on January 17, in Hobart.

The last Women's Ashes in 2023 was tied after Australia won the white-ball leg and England triumphed in the one-off Test.

Taking inspiration from Dravid, Sreejesh planned to take on the same role within the hockey setup.

"I want to become a coach. That was always my plan but now there is a question of when. After retirementlucky time, family comes first. I need to talk with them if they are OK with this. Now you have to listen to your wife a little bit," Sreejesh told PTI editors at its headquarters here on Tuesday.
